SHARON'S SINGING STUDIO
SINGING FOR THE LOVE OF IT!
This studio space was created especially with singing in mind. It is an inviting acoustic with 13’ ceilings and lots of angles for the sound to bounce from without sounding too loud. There is plenty of natural light and the entrance includes a small waiting area so that students who follow each other can wait inside. We use mirrors and audio-visual equipment to see and record what we do, allowing each student to be able to practice with support and self-reflection.

CHORAL SINGING
"Kinnaris" is a Chamber Ensemble made up of women who are Singers, Musicians and Choral enthusiasts, founded and conducted by Sharon Poelstra. We rehearse together as an ensemble every week and choose Music that is current but from multiple styles and languages.
The name "Kinnaris" comes from mythology and refers to a creature with the head, torso and arms of a woman and the wings, tail and feet of a swan. Renowned for her dance, song and poetry, she is a traditional symbol of feminine beauty, grace and accomplishment.
"Kinnaris" is available to perform in the Stratford area.
